This is the kind of book that makes you think about life completely differently. It’s one of those books that you have to have a certain ability to think deeply and abstractly enough to understand that what the narrator is doing is not meant to set a positive example. I think it’s about the way we perceive life and what we think makes life worth living— it’s an uncomfortable book that is meant to make you wonder. This book also serves as a glimpse into the mind of those suffering from depression that abuse drugs to cope.
