i may have found my new holiday comfort read, this story was the sweetest, cutest, and funniest from page one. there is so much quality and substance to it but also fun and spice!
Damien is the ultimate dream, no one can convince me otherwise, he is and should always be the blueprint! this man is godsend and i am genuinely so sad he isn’t real. Abbie is one lucky gal to have a man like him to just relentlessly and completely shift her low and downright upsetting self-perception in a span of ONE DATE. he was able to show Abbie her worth after losing it from a manipulative ex of years ??? GODSEND
don’t even get me started on Abbie’s journey throughout all of it, her past and childhood trauma being reinforced instead of soothed and eliminated. it breaks my heart every time she second guesses herself and questions anything good happening to her, and yet she was able to retrieve her sunshine and found a way back to her true self
this story’s definitely one for the books, the plot and flow itself was already great, throw in HOT AS HELL SPICE ??? YES PLEASE
