An interesting book that follows three generations of an Irish family. Throughout this book, the reader learns not only about the members of the family but Irish culture at the time. For example, at the beginning of the book, the author explains parts of Irish folk-lore like fairy-mounds and banshees. I also liked how the men in the book were the gold diggers and they were 100% honest about it. Overall this was a fun and quick read.
