A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold

5.0

Okay, so it's not focused on a grand galactic conflict, or deep issues of identity, but this romantic comedy of a novel is just so much fun I can't resist it. To see Miles approach courtship as another battle--well, it has some of Bujold's funniest writing. The dinner party scene, as well as a finale with a bug-butter battle, is not to be missed. Plus, there's some great political intrigue and it's interesting to see Miles turn his mind to that kind of problem.
