Not my favorite book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This is one of her previous works and I must say that with her writing experience she has improved enormously. The plot again broaches a poignant subject and Reid handles this with feeling. I thought the choice to write partly in the present and partly in the past with Ben was a good idea so that we got to know Ben better. The last chapter brought tears to my eyes because you know how the situation turns out. The story moves me mainly because I am afraid of losing my partner and this book faces you with the facts: life really can suddenly be over.
