The Third Baseman by Lulu Moore

2.0

The Third Baseman is a second chance baseball story that also has quite a bit of space jargon in it, a combo that weirdly worked. It's a classic opposites attract, jock + nerd, and has the next door neighbor vibe. This writing is not great and felt a little all over the place. It's a little clunky and I feel like there some inconsistencies with Marnie's character. This book had a lot of potential for me (sports and dual timeline and dual POV? sign me up), but it fell short and wasn't the book for me. I had a lot of issues with the writing and the logistics of the plot, and found myself not being very invested in the characters.
