Snowed In With The Mountain Monster: A Monster Romance by Winter Randall

2.0

As much as I really enjoy the monster romance genre, especially Ruby Dixon's Ice Planet Barabraians, Snowed in with the Mountain Monster just didn't do it for me. It didn't live up to my expectations. I'm not sure if it's because of its length or another aspect, but I didn't gel with this book as much as I originally thought I would. I found the plot to be lacking and the characters were not as compelling as I had hoped. The writing style also felt lacking, with dialogue that often fell flat and descriptions that didn't fully immerse me in the story. Additionally, the romance between the main characters felt forced and lacked the emotional depth that I have come to expect from the genre. Overall, Snowed in with the Mountain Monster left me disappointed and searching for a more gripping monster romance novel to fulfill my cravings.

"As far as I know, Harrish only has one tongue, but it feels like he has ten with the way he’s lapping at me like a starving man."
