Home Work: A Memoir of My Hollywood Years
by Julie Andrews Edwards
Three stars and I'm feeling generous. Keeping up with the family names and the jetting from place to place is exhausting. After a while all the moving around, caring for a high maintenance husband, and trips to Gstaad gets redundant and boring. Julie certainly did not live a boring life. I wish she had talked more about the gift God gave her and that amazing voice. Also, there was no dirt! Where is the dishiness on the sets? The smarmy Christopher Plummer? Way too vanilla to be a successful memoir. Still, I love you, Julie!
