Wow, just wow. This book is showing why people are so obsessed with this series. ACOMAF contains a much darker tone than it’s predecessor and explores the moral ambiguity of some of the characters we have already met. It is clear in the second novel that not everyone is who they claim to be - for better or for worse.
In terms of character development and dynamics, this was a vast improvement. Feyre feels much more fleshed out in this novel and much more mature. Her struggles with her trauma and interpersonal relationships truly bring her to life and make her far more relatable. I loved every new character that was introduced and dare I say they’re my favorites 👀
It’s not often that the second book in a series surpasses the first in terms of quality and content but ACOMAF truly does.
