I think this is a 2.5 but I'll round up because I did like it. I feel like I should have loved this but I just couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to. The concept is really fun but I thought the execution was just ok. I was pretty confused for most of the beginning. I'm happy I pushed through because like I said I did enjoy it...but idk I can't even really explain. I read one review that said it would have made a better movie and I do agree that would be fun but don't really know how that would translate since all these main characters are...based on movies characters. I did like the little homages and references, it was fun, but sometimes far-fetched. Also wtf was up with

I will say that I thought all the female characters were pretty well-written which I appreciate for a male writer, considering a lot of the trashy horror novels I've read lol
