This book is a continuation from book one and as such the books need to be read in order in order to fully understand what is happening.
This book focuses on Cade and Rocky, the werewolves that the “body magic” refers to primarily but it just as much about Simon and his continuing to learn his powers and his and Gray’s mate bond. There is a lot going on in this book as we discover more enemies for the pack and old threats reappear.
For the most part the storyline is suspenseful and keeps the reader engaged though there were a few points where it lagged or became repetitive. I’m looking forward to book three which it appears will center on Cormac.
