DNF. I hate that I didn’t finish this. I wanted to love it so badly! I love Jamie and Claire. I care about these characters and have been reading this series since 2010. However, I feel like Diana should have wrapped this all up in fewer books. They are long and dense and could be paired down. I got 265 pages into Bees and had to stop. I was just so bored! There’s only so much war, babies, and trivial day to day tasks I can take after eight other books of the same thing. I googled spoilers and honestly, I’m glad I stopped reading. I’ll always cherish this series but this book and the next are going to be a no for me.
