This was a political fantasy inspired by East Asian mythology. I'd give the political aspect a 10/10, but the fantasy aspect like a 3/10. Each chapter switches POV (which I love), but the characters all had a similar voice so it could take a bit to figure out whose POV I was reading from. Stretches were boring to the point of almost DNFing. I'm curious where the next book will go, but I don't know if I'm curious enough to actually read it
