I would be curious to read an edition of this book with updated commentary now that we are living through the COVID-19 pandemic. There is an odd tangent related to nuclear warfare in the epilogue, but overall a very intriguing read. The descriptions of Victorian England water leave little to the imagination of how nasty it was. Glad I'm living in present day and loved learning about the work of John Snow.
