casacas 's review for:
The Black Dahlia
by James Ellroy
This book was a bargain sale and looking at the reviews on the back cover, I thought it would be a good read to spend some time.
I liked the mystery and all the detective work involved, but honestly I didn't like the way mexican and black people is described.
This book shows the entire story with different turns, first the fight, then the murder case, then the wedding and at the end it tries to close all the loose ends relating everything to the Black Dahlia. Some of these parts could have been omitted.
