Raven finds out her soon-to-be husband is doing her dirty right before she's supposed to walk down the aisle. She runs away and in her rush, jumps right into a cab with Liam, who just found out his boss is going down for fraud and he's out of a job. Fast friends and drunk with possibilities, they decide they both need a breather and use Raven's now defunct honeymoon as a get away. Attraction is high. Will it last past the rebound?
So Te Russ knows how to pen a sweet, sexy, easy love story, even with a pop of drama at the beginning. I love the way Raven's family supported her running out on that man, lol. Liam was gentle and so protective, even at the beginning. I love his character and the way he took care of Raven like he knew he was meant to. Him being a gentleman and being concerned for her mental state had me swooning. But Raven knew how to get what she wanted, lol. And then it was on. I actually love a good rebound to real love story because there's no better time to realize you deserve better, and they did. The way Raven encouraged Liam's dreams and hyped him up, and the way he was scared to go get what was his but he finally did. Just in time to get a family. It was wonderful.
