Feisty by Julia Kent

5.0

I received this audiobook from Audiobook Obsession in exchange for an honest review.

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK!
This was the first book I've picked up of Julia Kent's and it's safe to say it won't be my last! The balance of (for lack of a better word) feisty and humor is wonderful and I was in stitches the whole time! I love the fact that Fiona a.k.a. Feisty is so in-tune with her spiritual self and doesn't apologize for who she is.

I think what really put the cherry on top was the narration! Erin Mallon is exceptional and her voices for different people are ON. POINT. and I never got confused as to who was talking. Her little kid voices were ADORABLE and hilarious at the same time. I would have enjoyed reading this book, but I really don't think it would have had the same lasting effect that hearing it has.

Overall, this is a book full of humor, sass, frenemies, and finding balance within yourself to become the best and happiest you can be. I felt closer to my inner self after listening to this book!

One side note and something I wanted more of - I really wanted to learn more about Fiona's kick-boxing background. Something like where and why she learned - was it just something she wanted to do when she was younger like some girls want to do gymnastics?
