Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

challenging emotional hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

5.0

All I can say about this book is that everyone should read it. Especially those of us with privilege. White feminists especially need to read this, as well as those privileged black women who have not experienced poverty.

This book is full of incredible insight, inspiring ideas, and gives us all a path to becoming better feminists and allies.
