Noah and Seven. **ARC Review**

Noah and Seven are both broken boys with a lot of past trauma. Noah uses random hook ups as a coping mechanism but after he is finished he is left feeling just as empty and damaged as before. A chance run in with Seven on a random highway in the middle of nowhere must have been fate because Seven was hungry for Noah, quite literally. There were a few instances where I was like, is this really happening and I also may never look at butter the same way again. The use of crude phrases and imagery also left me cringing a little.

Over the course of weeks they are on the road they get to know each other better, they also get up to some shenanigans and dangerous situations that had me sweating bullets. Noah is kinda grumpy, emotionally closed off and a bit rough around the edges and Seven is very inquisitive and loves poking at Noah. I was hoping to see more emotional vulnerability and intimacy develop over time than what we got, especially given both of their past. I didn't get quite get that deep aching connection with the character and the story like I wanted.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, I flew through it and it was an interesting ride start to finish.
