I wish we didn't get the "it was just a dream" tangent & got more of the actual story instead but considering how short was left to the actual story I understand why it was even there but I would've preferred if they did it differently by putting it at the end instead but it wouldn't have tricked the readers as well I guess so I get it.
The fake bit was kinda funny and sad but also interesting because it's like we got the alternative ending of what would've happened in the story if Aoki was the one who hurt his head
