Take Me with You When You Go by David Levithan, Jennifer Niven

5.0

I read this book in one sitting from the bookstore in the Ontario Airport.

A lot of the reviews show that this book was okay, but I ended up really loving it! It was such a heartbreaking tale of real life and the human struggle.

What I didn't know picking this book was that it is epistolary! What a (not so) pleasant surprise. I definitely fell out-of-love with this style whilst reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

This book did that style through emails soooo much better. It had so many tidbits of wisdom, and it made me sob my eyes out on an airplane.

I haven't ever heard of David Leviathan, but Jennifer Nivan had me bawling through All the Bright Places in one sitting as well...a theme?

Anyways, I won't keep you staring at your device for too long, go enjoy the wonderful Christmas season. Love from back-in-Carnation.

Have a wonderful Christmas eve eve eve
