Axe-identally Married by Daphne Elliot
5.0

He's a baseball-hat-wearing, zamboni-driving, knitting, baking, girls-hockey-coaching, golden retriever. She's a bad ass, driven, take-no-shit, justice-seeking doctor. They just so happened to get drunk married in Vegas and wind up in a marriage of convenience. But here's the thing, they're perfect for one another.

Cole is looking for purpose in his life and Willa needs someone to help her slow down. I loved every minute of this one. We get a little bit of the ongoing suspense characteristic of Elliot's series, but it didn't take away from Cole and Willa's story at all. Cole definitely entered the pantheon of top tier book boyfriends. And the way Willa became his cheerleader and helped him to not be so hard on himself was so perfect. As much as Cole is "MY WIFE," Willa is "MY HUSBAND" and I am here for it.

She stands up for him to his asshole brother.
He collects rage rocks for her to throw in the lake.
She helps him find his purpose and recognize his potential.
He knits scarves and hats for her and his girls hockey team.
All while they eat dinner watching Jeopardy.
These two are just goals.
Also, they're mad for one another. It's a slow burn, but definitely pays off!
