This book is a part of a duology. Wich take place at the deep waters of the Narrows. If you haven't read Fable yet i advice you to read it before you start reading this book in order to be able to follow the complete storyline.

The plot of the first book ended in a cliffhanger. We accompany Fable in Namesake while her journey in the Narrows continues.

Fable ended up on the Luna the ship of the enemy. Where dark clouds fill the air. Raging storms are coming at her.
Needing to survive on the enemy their ship where the crew want to kill her is already a big challenge itself where everything starts with.

As the shadows of her family history creep into her life, new challenges follow at a rapid pace. Freedom quickly becomes the biggest value in her life and Fable must do everything in her power to get it back.

Would she finally receive the love she crave so much? When old acquaintances cross her path she need to search for their honest side.

Fable is a badass female character. The new character Koj has a valuable addition to the storyline. The tough male characters all have a sensitive side wich add a great contrast to the storyline.

Unexpected encounters keep the storyline moving in multiple directions which i considered as an enjoyable experience. The romance part is not to cliche and contains some rough edges.

If you are interested in reading pirate stories, unexpected twists, LGBT characters, romance and great world building this is a duology you would highly enjoy.
