From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz

5.0

I know so very few authors who can capture life so effortlessly. The way that beauty and tragedy often weaves together to create this beautiful life we live. I had so many moments reading this book that just broke me down in tears. Every tale is pretty much a tale of good versus evil, but Koontz has this way of making you see paralyzing beauty and hope much more than the darkness and evil. Hope always triumphs, love always conquers, and even when death separates us from those we love; love keeps them alive in our hearts. Many times I often wonder if God has afforded Koontz a glimpse of the eternal, a glimpse of the glory and joy that is heaven, because I don't know anyone else who can break your heart and then give you so much hope quite like he does.
