Um. I did really like it and I'm trying to remember that they are high school students new to feminism but I really didn't like the let's take down Len aspect of the story. I think it was more imperative for the editorial staff to realize the prejudice's towards electing him and not Eliza.
So at some points I was like this is not good feminism but also - high school students learning - it would have also been nice to see some of the teachers and staff interacting with the students about the different causes and trying to help.
I did feel like a lot of threads were left open. Like Eliza and Len's parents and their stories - her sister Kim - Winona's film --- I did still really like it!
I just started Michelle's second book and it has alternating veiwpoints and I'm like - yes! this was what was missing from Not Here to Be Liked!
