Elevator Pitch by Evelyn Leigh
4.0
This was a different pace to the books I’ve been reading. This was sweet and spicy. I enjoyed it.
Selah has been through a lot and doesn’t trust easily with reason- she has been on a journey in finding herself after leaving an abusive relationship. Greyson has been through his share of heartbreak, divorced and feeling like he isn’t good enough for someone to stick around. They are from different worlds but connect in a way that was so nice to read.
Greyson really is a book boyfriend irl to Selah - he’s so understanding it’s kinda hard to believe he’s real. I was even questioning it with Selah lol. They met by chance in their building elevator and I wanna say he was instantly hooked on her from the moment he lays eyes on her. He worked his magic on her. Again he was sweet, understanding, took his time to get to know her, what she liked. He was so attentive.
What started off as friends with benefits you say turns into much more but can Selah handle that? Being that she has a no falling in love rule? You’ll have to read to see lol
I also enjoyed each of their own friendships and friend groups. The family dynamics of each.
Again this was sweet and spicy, who doesn’t love an attentive man who notices everything and takes notes. I loved the book club and the side characters were fun too.
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series and see these characters again
