This book was far better than The Spanish Love Deception. The pacing was much faster and the romance was amazing. Rosie's online crush on Lucas and her total infatuation with him without even knowing him was adorable. Her attempts to hide it were even cuter. Lucas's support of her plan to write the book and embarking on the dating experiment with her was so sexy. Also, him speaking Spanish was to die for.

The character development was excellent. Rosie went from an insecure girl doubting her career choice and writing abilities to a confident woman who knew what she wanted. Lucas transformed from a man pitying himself after an accident into someone with new hopes for the future.

The story was super sweet. Lucas was the most adorable character ever, especially with his carefully planned experimental dates. The rooftop date was too cute. His request for Rosie to choose a song to become their soundtrack—oh my!

Lucas and Rosie had incredible chemistry and sizzling sexual tension. Their first kiss was passionate and intense, brimming with desire and longing. I couldn't stop reading. Their relationship's progression from roommates to friends to lovers felt genuine and believable. They truly brought out the best in each other, supporting each other's dreams and encouraging risks.

The side characters were also lovable, especially Taco of course. You include a dog in your book, and I'm hooked. We see Aaron and Lina again, which was wonderful.

Cronut you, Elena Armas, for this amazing book!
