There are no words that can adequately convey the impact this book and these characters have had on me. Lizzie's narrative is so significant, heart-wrenching, and genuine. It is raw and painful.

I have never felt such deep empathy for a group of fictional characters in my life. I took my time with this one and I am truly grateful I did. I have never read anything like this series.

Chloe has a remarkable talent for crafting characters that deeply affect your soul, and this remains one of my most cherished series I have ever read. I will never not love it.

This book makes all the other books a thousand more times devastating because it fills in those gaps you didnt quite know where always there.

Lizzie's narrative was always destined to be challenging, with numerous crumbs throughout the other books leading up to this book. I am truly surprised by the widespread shock over her childhood trauma.

If there is one lesson I have learned in life, it is that people generally prefer to avoid angry girls and women and they often overlook the fact that these girls and women have likely been in a state of fight or flight mode their entire lives. Nobody is born angry, everyone has a story.

This entire series deals with some really tough subjects, but I've never been more in love with a series than I am with this one. It's really hard to explain to people who haven't read them, because you have to go through it to understand how much these characters and their stories will affect you.

Chloe crafts her characters in such a manner that you find yourself actually disliking those you're supposed to hate (not just knowing they're and you shouldn't like them), loving those deeply you're meant to love, and discovering redemption and acceptance in some of the others. She tackles topics that often go unspoken and brushed under the rug, and she handles them with such skill that you experience every single emotion these characters go through in her writing.

I'll never stop loving this series and I'm really excited for more 😭
