This is a book that if you start noticing it’s been everywhere lately on Booksta and Booktok even though it was published in 2018.

And there’s a reason for it: people are realizing how good it is. Word of mouth doing its magic.

And I’m here to hype it up, as well. Dear followers, here’s why you should read it:

Slow-burn was chef’s kiss. The angst? Just on point. Enemies to lovers trope? A well-written one. Amazing side characters? You got them. Realistic? YAS.

And I think that’s what I loved the most: how realistic it all felt. We get so much more than just the romance- we get to see the main character’s family, her struggles with her career, her passion for figure skating and all her insecurities and unique personality.
Tired of superficial characters in romances? Grab this book.
