Despite loving to read, I will admit classics sometimes don’t agree with me. This was a rare treat. I loved Anne with her motormouth and her ability to see the beauty in all things around her. I also loved the character development in both Matthew and Marilla. Finally, I liked that this book reminded me of how proud I am to be Canadian.
