Outlaws Deceit by L.G. Campbell
5.0
Outlaws Deceit is book #4 and the final book in The Satan Outlaws series. I don't want to give too many spoilers away, but basically Outlaws Deceit is the continuation of Serena's story from book #1 Hidden Truths. I was so excited to read a bit more of Serena's story, I wanted her get her happy ending. She lived through a lot, and my heart broke for her. It's a forbidden romance MC romance, Rubble (hero) who was also introduced to in the first book loved Serena from afar; he knows he can't have her, yet cannot help the way his feels for her. Serena is barely holding on, she's grieving for the loss of her first love Wes. I don't want to give too away too many spoilers, but basically Outlaws Deceit is navigated from Serena and Rubble's perspective, it's their story; Serena's second chance at love, for her to heal and move forward from the pain and grief.
Ever since Wes' death she's been alienated herself from the Satan Outlaws clubs. It's just to painful for her to remember all the memories and seeing all the sorrow and pity on Wes' friends and family's faces. And Rubble is doing is best to forget about Serena, he knows the consequences are too high. I loved the first couple of chapters! There was this one scene where Serena went all badass! I was so surprised! It was definitely one of my highlights. And after a few chapters in the change of events escalated so fast! I mean, I did knew something was going happen but I didn't to happen so soon! My heart started to race as the events unfolded in front of my eyes. I couldn't believe it!
After experiencing so many incidents, once again Serena found herself in a sticky and difficult situation. I loved how the sequence of events connected and flowed from book #1 to this book, it's was a great smooth transition. It's a fast paced read, action packed and it never ceases. And then there's Jesús, his an intriguing character he is a bit cuckoo/crazy. But I really enjoyed reading the scenes he was featured in, there's more to him than meets the eye. And I'm looking forward to reading his book! I loved seeing the all girls plotting together, they are a fun girl gang! And the ending! Absolutely loved it!! Since I really enjoyed the characters from this series, I'm planning to read the Rocke series!
