Sacred Serenity by Audrey Carlan

3.0

I went into Sacred Serenity with an open mind because I was thoroughly surprised by Resisted Roots.

It was interesting to see how the dynamic would work between Amber and Dash since Amber heavily follows her faith and Dash doesn't believe in the same. Instantly you know that this is going to be their conflicting moment but that doesn't mean there can't be steam along the way. Especially with a hot tantric master as the MMC with the virgin FMC.

At times I couldn't get on with Amber. She became very whiney on audio and for her age I wanted her to be more mature, especially when she had her drinking moment where Dash came and picked her up. I did like the plot with her potential second love interest and the reveal. It didn't come across as natural though and all the scenes felt forced, it wasn't as natural as the scenes in Resisted Roots but I did love seeing these two characters again.
