The writing & good characters are all still there, but this one feels the weakest of the trilogy, to me. There were a couple parts that had, if not plot holes, big unanswered questions that distracted me. What perhaps most people would define as a "twist", I saw as heralding further departure from the main essence I had come to love about the story... it felt to me like Card got tired of the tale he'd created & tried to wrap it up in a way that would make things "fresh". (Which probably isn't what really happened. Naturally.) Still, mostly a nice tidy finish, some really interesting principles addressed, & I particularly enjoyed the first half or so. Would still recommend this series to most readers.
