Fool's Fate by Robin Hobb
5.0

4.5

...I suddenly felt what a tiresome fellow I was, always filling the air with the rattle of words and anxieties.

That about sums up what I didn't like about this trilogy and why I couldn't give it a full 5 stars but just 4.5 stars for all three books. Fitz's internal monologues are so tiresome! I love the story, the continuation of Fitz's and the dragons' fates, the Fool... But I enjoyed Hobb's third person POV in The Loveship Traders trilogy more than her first person POV here.
SpoilerI'm glad Fitz got his memories and emotions back. Maybe he won't be such a drag in the next books.

I also have some problems with the family relationships. But maybe this is just in the editions that I have? Malta and Althea were called sisters when they're niece and aunt. Fitz and Dutiful called uncle and nephew when they're actually cousins, which in turn means that Dutiful and Nettle are uncle and niece, not cousins. It's just a minor thing though.
