When She Reigns by Jodi Meadows

2.0

After the first two books I was very excited for this final book to finish the series!

Then I finally got my hands on it and it was... Ok. The book was about 530 pages total, and it felt like 350 of those pages was just build up. Thinking back on it, I don't remember a lot of things that occurred, only that I was eager to read on to hopefully get to the action.

Sadly I found this third book lacking. There wasn't a lot of character development, the romances were already obvious and in place from the previous book, and it gave off the vibe that it would all work out in a good way somehow.

Usually I like the happy ending books, but this one was too easy to see where it was going once the *action* finally happened that it left me feeling cheated. This book could have been 200 pages to cover the things I'll actually remember and enjoyed instead of the massive 500+ it was. Just too much filler for too little enjoyment.
