Brightly Burning Bridges by Ivy Wild

5.0

After reading The Estate I did not like Silas, in fact, I couldn't stand him and knew there was no way in hell that man could be redeemed......it would take a freaking miracle for that to happen!

"He wasn't a friend, until he became an enemy. He wasn't warm, until he became cold. He wasn't kind, until he became vicious. He was everything to me and nothing to me all at the same time. And I felt everything for him and nothing for him all at the same time."

This story was not what I expected, the twists and turns blew my mind at every turn which had me intrigued from beginning to end. I savored this story, I wanted to fully grasp the tumultuous relationship between Silas and Skyler and wow....the angst, the turmoil, the drama, it was conveyed through every page.

"This bridge sort of reminds me of each of us. We're splintered, fractured and broken. Life's thrown a ton at us and really worn us down. But, we're still here. We're still standing."

Silas and Skyler are opposites, yet compliment each other in every way. These two will have you an emotional hotmess....you'll laugh, smile, cry, yell but in the end you'll be cheering them on and hoping for their HEA!! I LOVED this book and in true Ivy fashion she redeemed the devil himself, I fell in love with Silas! This is one story that will absolutely monopolize your time!
