I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. It starts a little confusing, with too much information and focus on the "dark" aspects which seemed a tad superfluous.
But I could really fee the emotional journey the protagonist went through and, in a way, I changed the same way she did.
It's tragic and grotesque, but also filled with love and hope.
As for the things that were predictable... isn't that what reality has, time and time again, conditioned us to "predict" in these cases? Can I really be upset at the story for going that way? 🤷
