Nice conclusion to Magnolia & BJ's storyline. This book showcases how much both BJ and Magnolia work and grow up to be together (in a much more healthy relationship).

Grief was portrayed and dealt with wonderfully. Anyone who has ever grieved will resonate with this book.

I felt the book was a bit long unnecessarily. Like some things happened that were not really necessary to the story. Of course there are things that happen in the book that will evidently resolve in future books, but that is not what I mean.

Taura ending up with Tiller felt like a stretch. And the resolution of her love triangle with Jo and Henry was not really explained. All the drama in previous books and suddenly a lost love appeared and everything righted itself. Not to happy about that.

I love how in this book Julian from Magnolia's POV is a bit of an a**hole. Knowing what we know of Julian's mind and feelings from him POV in "The Great Undoing" we can be sure he was trying to get her to never try to see him again, because he's protecting her.

Many many questions about what is going on with the gang lord gang. Cannot wait for next book. Julian, Christian and Daisy's POV are my favourite.
