The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler
5.0
This is a “thinking” book. I wouldn’t say that this the hardest book I’ve ever read. But it’s thought-provoking, and some parts of it really ask you to question yourself.
It’s a beautifully written book on consciousness, human connection, and, of course, the downhill battle we’re engaged with in ecological preservation. I wouldn’t call it depressing; it was multi-layered and (I believe) ended on a hopeful note.
Easiest five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
