Regarding Rex and Rachel as a duet:
I feel like Rex and Rachel could have been combined into one book. Or, at the very least, condensed quite a bit. I also didn't love how it felt like another set up for a new series in a way that didn't make the end of this series feel settled, epilogue, notwithstanding.
