This is a collection of short stories consecutively following one man and his family and life, season by season. It reads like a sequence of classic comic strips. It’s all about the little things and it’s really joyful and silly—and heartwarming. I really enjoy the format and connectedness of it all. Some stories immediately stand out more than others, but I’m already considering rereading all the winter stories once winter comes around again. Marcovaldo is a lovable guy.
