Objectively speaking, this isn't a great book. The characters are all underdeveloped, and of the many love stories, there was really only one that I felt emotionally invested in. That said, I was looking for a cozy book with charming writing to read while drinking tea, and on those counts, I thought it delivered. It's one of those books where you don't pay too much attention to what's actually happening and just enjoy getting to escape for a few hours.
