a couple months ago i was walking with a two year old and we passed these two older men and one of them was saying "well at the time there were these two conflicting ideas of the dystopian future to come, Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World" and then he said something along the lines of blah blah 1984 PC culture you can't say anything these days etc etc. then the two year old started running in the other direction and i missed the rest of that riveting conversation. there was SOMETHING the man said though, something that was so incorrect that it stuck with me for the rest of the day, but by now i've forgotten what it was. I think he may have called it 1985
