I had conflicting feelings about this book. It was very well written, and the structure of the plot was pretty stereotypical but interesting, but a lot of it felt...kinda problematic. I really don't care about the age gap, I didn't even mind the instalove too much, and I guess the "young boy falls for his rich rescuer" was interesting enough, but the dependency of this couple seemed to go a little too far. I was happy for Theo when he decided to work on himself, and I was happy when Jessie decided to go to rehab (even though the whole book I was just waiting for that to happen and even when it did it didn't feel like something he realistically would have done.) But as soon as they reconnected, it was like...a really toxic dependency. I did really like the characters and I enjoyed the story for the most part, but that really rubbed me the wrong way.
