To be honest, I thought the whole showdown would be bigger and more epic. I also thought Alice's death was futile.
I really liked seeing Lia transform throughout the series; she wasn't as shy anymore.
The romance between Lia and Dimitri is definitely a lot more passionate. A LOT. In fact, in one scene, she is taking a bath and Dimitri's there to dry her off. I found the scene really awkward and not romantic.
I hate the way they talk (which is probably why I hate historical fiction books) but I didn't understand how she could talk to someone she's so close with so formally.
Never really liked this series but I wanted to know how it ended so I did...
