“Beyond The Gender Binary“ by Alok Vaid-Menon is a short read that tries to cover a lot of topics which may be a bit too mich for that little pages.
Nevertheless I think that it is a great read, I can imagine gifting “Beyond The Gender Binary” to important people in your life that you would love to understand your own gender non-conformity or gifting it to younger trans people and all those who are just coming to terms with their transness to make them feel seen and help them understand themselves better.
There is also a part in which Alok Vaid-Menon debunks common misconceptions and prejudices which can be extremely helpful for those still (a little) insecure about their own gender and gender expression.
If you’re already into the topics transness, gender and gender non-conformity this book won’t teach you a lot of new things, but it will make you feel seen and maybe help you out to make others understand.
