This is fluffy and feels star wars fan fic-esque if that makes sense?
This author gets great ratings on her work and I wanted something a bit more sci fi for a bit in between my other genres. Instead I was left with a limp biscuit of a series. I had the trilogy as an audiobook so I have read all three but this is... just a limp biscuit of a series I fear. It has some good bits but nothing that kept me overly interested the series.
That's not to say it's a bad series just could be so much better.
