I can't remember the last time I was so excited about reading a series! I started this series a long time ago when I was in school, but never made it past the second one. Now I'm listening to them on CD and I think narrator Nathaniel Parker is a fairy who can use the mesmer sans eye contact - he's absolutely incredible. Every character has a unique voice you can recognize instantly, and he gets all the tones and attitudes spot-on as well.
I've also been really pleased with the quality of these stories. The pace is fast, the plot's exciting, the characters are very well developed, and not a detail is forgotten!
I laughed, I cried, I gasped aloud...high-quality entertainment if you can handle a little juvenile humor, too. :)
