The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie

4.0

For a long time, I would say that while I generally enjoyed Christie mysteries, only Murder on the Orient Express and And Then There Were None were memorable enough to stand out in my mind.

Well, you can now add The Murder of Roger Ackroyd as the third mystery of Christie's that I'll always remember. What a fantastic ending! For a mystery reader, this is probably a ready five-star read. As someone who's not the biggest mystery fan, it's only four stars. But the nature of the book also makes it supremely re-readable, and so if I ever get around to re-reading it, I might bump it up to a whole five stars. Great stuff.

Rating: 4-4.5 Stars (Very Good).
