I really wanted to like this one more than I did. The story started off really well but then lost me around 54%. I found the writing style to be repetitive, the characters were annoying, and the plot just dragged on longer than it should. Trent was self deprecating and got on my nerves. Eden was this super sweet church mouse type; she was just too innocent and I found I could not connect with her.

I really had super high hopes for this series and the author so I’m kinda sad. I may try another one of her series.
